Track/Site Designer Announcement

Denver, Colorado, December 1, 2006. Race Track Development, LLC and Genoa Motorsports Park of Colorado, LLC, in conjunction with Genoa Motorsports Country Club, LLC (a membership and car club race track) are pleased to announce they have partnered with the track and site design team of Crested Butte, Colorado based Martyn Thake and Motorsports Consulting Services, LLC and Denver based Kyle Chism of GRIP, LLC.

Motorsports Consulting Services, LLC was chosen for its internationally known expertise in FIA and FIM track design capabilities.

Martyn and Kyle spent several days studying, walking, and driving the site to get a "feel" for the track possibilities. Martyn describes the facility - "Genoa Motorsports Park may well be the most unique facility we have ever been involved with. The opportunity to start with a completely clean sheet of paper and work with the owners to create what I believe to be one of the best, most versatile, motorsports facilities in the country is something that comes along very rarely. The sheer size of the facility gave us the opportunity to really explore all of the options and various uses we wanted to include. The elevation changes enabled us to design a track that has six (6) different variations; this is almost unheard of in a facility of this type. The acreage (approximately 2,700 acres) allowed us to design an all-encompassing motorsports park. With areas devoted to almost every motorsports activity out there, and with enough room to do it all properly. The design allows all the individual disciplines to operate independently, and at the same time. This is also virtually unheard of. The site has unprecedented access, within easy driving distance of Denver and Colorado Springs, it is located adjacent to I-70, it almost has its own exit. This is definitely the best, most encompassing multi use facility we have been involved with".

Martyn and Kyle have designed a facility that includes a 6.26-mile road course that has two separate road race circuits within it. The West Circuit is 3.72 miles and has 109 feet of elevation change, while the East Circuit is 3.17 miles and has 104 feet of elevation change. Each circuit, as well as the overall track, has been designed to safely run in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, and for additional safety, incorporates generous runoff areas, which reduces the need for barrier walls. With the current track design and expanse of interior land, we have the ability to add future track features, which will keep the track exciting, fun, and challenging for years to come. Martyn describes the track itself - "as a challenging and satisfying combination of tracks. The design generates a combination of six (6) distinct race tracks. The flow of the land enabled us to incorporate many features not usually found on a facility like this. It was our goal all along to use as much of the natural terrain as we possibly could. Subsequently, you are going to see features you usually only find on tracks like Laguna Seca, Road America, Mid-Ohio, or the famous tracks in Europe. At Genoa you will have; long straights that follow the contour of the site, "keyhole" turns, sweeping constant radius turns, long decreasing radius carousels and a hairpin or two. You will also find some very challenging left/right and right/left combinations. Drivers of every ability and skill level will find something for them at Genoa, the combinations of the east and west tracks; separate or combined, clockwise or counterclockwise, will give everyone a challenging and satisfying lap". The facility will have a variety of track amenities to include exclusive member condo/garages, a paddock (with garages) member RV area. There will be a separate paddock for car clubs renting a circuit. Just one of the highlights is a member's clubhouse that sits on a bluff with a phenomenal view of almost the entire track as well as Pikes Peak. There will also be a limited number of On-Track Estates that sit on this bluff.

Motorsports Consulting Services, LLC has been responsible for the track design, construction and management for the Champ Car World Series Grand Prix of Denver and Cleveland for the past three years as well as designing the new venues for Houston, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. Motorsports Consulting Services, LLC has also worked with Champ Car to upgrade tracks in China and Korea and are designing new tracks in Japan and South Africa. In addition to Champ Car track design, Motorsports Consulting Services, LLC is in various stages of designing new facilities in Canada, Israel, Russia, Japan, China, and the United States. Most of these are "country club" style facilities offering members the ability to store, work on and enjoy their cars at a fixed, full service facility.

Kyle Chism, GRIP, LLC, is experienced in many construction and design venues. Kyle has had a large impact on Denver's skyline with his work on the Pepsi Center Arena, One Lincoln Park, and the Diamond Lofts and has helped transform the streets of many cities around the United States into high-speed open wheel racetracks. Kyle has worked for Mr. Stan Kroenke on the Paramount Theater, the Rapids Soccer Stadium as well as his personal residence at the Pepsi Center Arena. His race activities include constructing the Inaugural Grand Prix of Denver circuit that surrounded the Pepsi Center grounds in 2002. Since then, his work has expanded with Champ Car and SCORE to temporary race circuits in St. Petersburg, Houston, Long Beach and Baja, Mexico.
